The Protection Specialists
There are many forms of Protection Insurance that can either go hand in hand your Mortgage or are there for stand alone cover but our Advisors on hand to help you decide which one best suits you and your circumstances. Below is a guide to the types of Insurance that are available:
Life Insurance
Life Insurance is probably the most basic and cheapest of all Mortgage Protection products. No fancy features and only payable in the event of Death, cover can be taken either on a level or reducing basis. Traditionally for repayment mortgages the benefit has tended to be written on a reducing basis and although cheaper on monthly payments will only pay a small amount towards the end of the Term. Logically, we are likely to die later rather than sooner and so taking level or even increasing cover may actually represent better value for money. Life Insurance does not always have to be mortgage linked and can be taken as stand alone cover so why not talk to us today about how best to protect yourself.
Critical Illness
Critical Illness cover would normally pay out a lump sum on the diagnosis of a critical illness within the plan term. The market leading providers typically cover against 28 to 32 critical illnesses but this can vary so it is best to get advice on what cover would your circumstances best.
Accident, Sickness Insurance
Normally used to protect income on a short term basis up to 1 or 2 years. If your employer offers little or no sickness benefit, then you need to consider this carefully.
